What Will People Say?

What will people say?
What will people not say?
After all is said, done and said again,
What will people not say?

Will life end?
Will your air be cut short?
Will your destiny be aborted?
Will your future collapse?
Will your day turn to nightmare?
Will you stumble and fall?
Will the nightmare turn to reality?
Will the pain become permanent?
Will you lose all your ‘friends and family’?
Will all you have built thus far fall to the ground?

If yes, people might have let it happen but you let it remain.

They might have started the fire but you allowed the flame to consume you.
They might have sown the seed, but you watered and fertilized it with your fear,
They might have said all the negative things any human can muster, but you chewed it up until it became part of your system,
They might have sneered at you but you took their sneer as the definition of your worth,
They might have spat at you and hissed as you walked by, but you enveloped yourself in their venom and they choked you as the snakes they are,
They might have stopped being your friends and family but you chose to be lonely,
They might have spread the rumors about you but you continued those rumors by hiding yourself in shame,
They might have shamed you in every human way possible but you accepted it when you let them push you away from your life,

They might have set their feet for you to stumble but you remained on the ground,
They might have stabbed you with their words, but you pushed it deeper when you took their words as gospel,
They might have broken down your confidence with their hammer, but you left the pieces on the ground and walked away,
They might have made you doubt the existence of your future but you gave them the title of god,
They might have taken you to the very edge of your limit, please do not fall over because of their invisible hands tilting you,
They are not worth it.
Vanity upon Vanity is Vanity.
Life is in phases
Humans are fickle
Give it time and their lunch topic would change to something else; not because you stopped being interesting but because they got bored.

They might have used you as their topic of their lunch but who cares?
When you fall, stand up and walk again.
People will always say,

People will always talk,
You cannot separate the two.
To think people will not always talk is like saying they won't breath!
People like to say and talk!
They move on from one news to another,
From one gist to another,
From one scandal to another,
If you are looking for reassurance, what they are saying about you is timed, very soon they would move on to the  next topic, only if you give them another one to talk about...

Let them say...it's their mouth, their words and action... It's a cycle and you won't be the first or the last they would talk about!

Live your life to please God!
Colossians 1:20 ‘So that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God

You are offered poison; will you drink it because you don’t want people to say you did not accept their gift?
He proposed to you in public in front of your friends, you know he slapped you yesterday, you want to say no, but you say yes because you are afraid of what people will say and then you still end up saying ‘I do’? to what exactly?
You do not like where you are at the moment, but you are afraid to leave because of what people will say?
You have a friend who pulls you down and brings out the worst in you, but you cannot cut her off because you are sentimentally thinking of what will she say if you do?
You get invited to a ‘gathering’ your spirit is not agreeing to but you go regardless because you don’t want people to say you are boring?
You are holding back from saying your mind because you do not want people to say you are rebellious, in other words, having a mind of your own?
You are fulfilling another person’s ‘destiny idea’ of you and you do not want to break through because you don’t want them saying you are ungrateful?
You get all the things you know you do not need because you don’t want people….#sigh

What is the worst that can happen after people talk? There is a reason man is not God; Do not extol man to God status.
Proverbs 21:1-2
The king’s heart is like a stream of water directed by the Lord; he guides it wherever he pleases.
People may be right in their own eyes, but the Lord examines their heart.

The only approval you need is the approval of God! Just keep striving towards being a better version of you.
2 Timothy 2:15
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

aka I am over IT!

I am wiser today because I choose my foolishness over yours.
I am stronger today because I choose my weakness over yours.
I am braver today because I choose my fear over yours.
I am better today because I choose my worst over yours.

You are entitled to have a gospel,
I am entitled to have my gospel.
I must have done some good in my previous life,
That your cost in m present life is variable and not fixed.

Inhaling the free air God has blessed us with,
And remembering He created man in His own image,
Why then is it often said ‘If man were God, all will be dead but him’.
I guess it is because there is a fine line between being God and having a god-factor.

One inspires and the other expires inspiration.
One is merciful and the other is the judge, jury and executioner.
One is powerful and the other needs a constant reminder by being a predator.
One is the all wise one and the other has a degree in reverse psychology.

Life in itself is but a fleeting moment,
So I will still choose my action over your reaction,
I will stand up to tie my shoe lace, so I can see your shadow pass away,
I will still choose my foolishness over yours,
Because it is comical seeing you, trying to play God.

A Wife’s Part: Part 1

I was told recently that I have a lot of things to learn. At that instant, I didn’t see the meaning of that sentence but in retrospect, I realise that my vessel can only be filled with wisdom from above. As I rummaged through the information on the internet I came upon this piece titled ‘A Wife’s Part: Part 1’ and though I am not a wife just yet, it has been my desire to get ready for the phase.

I pray you learn from this as I am learning from it all and hopefully, I would be able to share the Part 2 when I receive it ;).

A Wife’s Part: Part 1
Inspired from the book titled ‘The Family By JR Miller’

"It is a high honor for a woman to be chosen from among all womankind to be the wife of a good and true man.  She is lifted up to be a crowned queen.  Her husband's manly love laid at her feet exalts her to the throne of his life.  Great power is placed in her hands.  Sacred dispositions are reposed in her keeping.  Will she wear her crown beneficently?  Will she fill her realm with beauty and with blessing?  Or will she fail in her holy trust?  Only her married life can be the answer.

A woman may well pause before she gives her hand in marriage, and inquire whether he is worthy to whom she is asked to surrender so much; whether he can bring true happiness to her life; whether he can meet the cravings of her nature for love and for companionship; whether he is worthy to be lifted to the highest place in her heart and honored as a husband should be honored.  She must ask these questions for her own sake, else the dream may fade with the bridal wreath, and she may learn, when too late, that he for whom she has left all and to whom she has given all is not worthy of the sacred trust, and has no power to fill her life with happiness, to wake her heart's chords to touch her soul's depths.

But the question should be turned and asked from the other side. Can she be a true wife to win who asks for her hand?  Is she worthy of the love that is laid at her feet? Can she be a blessing to the life of him who would lift her to the throne of his heart? Will he find in her all the beauty, all the tender loveliness, all the rich qualities of nature, all the deep sympathy and companionship, all the strengthful, uplifting love, all the sources of joy and help, which he seems now to see in her?

Surely it is proper for her to question her own soul for him while she bids him question his soul for her."   -JR Miller
