2013.. WOW! 2014… WOW!

I would like to appreciate everyone who has been with me through the outlet called Pen and Fingers.

In one word my 2013- WOW. So much happened and is still happening! I do not know if I am the only one who felt she had the activities of maybe about five years swamped just into one year! I am eternally grateful to God for every single moment- all my conscious and unconscious experience of 2013.

Already the second day of 2014 and time is ticking off with no apology. I do not know what stage you might be in, maybe refining your resolutions, maybe the phase of ‘same circumstances with the only change been the number ‘3’ to ‘4’ or maybe surrounded by situations that are time bound just sitting and watching, or maybe you are very much pumped and excited because you see very big things happening in 2014, even If you still have a ton of work to do regarding what those big things are!

No matter how we transitioned into 2014 or how we have kicked off, I think the most important thing is we actually have a whole new year to continue, start, end, something! I like the hopeful anticipation and the constant reminder that it would only be a feeling if I actually do not associate it with an actual activity!
So, my dear readers, congratulations once again for embodying hope within you and for the courage we all have to make hope a reality.

And as I sign off this post, feel free to read some of my popular posts of 2013:

-          And I sang off-key
-          My lane not yours
-          To forgive or not to forgive?
-          My relationship with Nokia 3310

Finally, I saw this statement in one of the New Year posts written by someone and it has been on repeat on my mind. it said ’Putting off things that you can do now for the future is the manifestation of a man that has been deceived to think it is in control of time’.

I wish you all a most beautiful 2014 filled with the best of things God has in store for you as you make the best of use of time.
x
